The Royal Windsor Horse Show


Every year, the Ultra Board team look forward to producing stand-out exhibition spaces and displays for some of the UK’s leading retailers and this year is no different.

At the 2016 Royal Windsor Horse Show, House of Fraser needed to create an innovative pop-up shop to attract shoppers into their virtual store in the Fashion and Jewellery quarter.

With the event attracting over 200 exhibitors and well over 70,000 visitors, the lifestyle retailer needed a creative concept that stood them apart from the rest. They also needed a product that demonstrated their responsibility to the environment.

Using 18mm Ultra Board fire rated display panels, the pop up shop was 100% recyclable with a Fire Rated certification. Before the event, the honeycomb boards were perfectly cut to ensure easy self-assembly at the five day event. They were also cut to integrate various design elements such as lighting fixtures and TV screens.

As Ultra Board is such a versatile product, the team were able to design House of Fraser ‘touches’ out of the honeycomb structure, including a stags head.

Due to Ultra Boards hard-wearing structure, the exhibition stand still looked incredible at the end of the event and will be used again by House of Fraser.
